As a Senior HR Generalist, you'll drive comprehensive HR solutions while fostering a proactive, collaborative culture. Balancing daily operations with strategic initiatives, you'll enhance engagement, compliance, and performance. This role is ideal for someone with expertise in HR practices, automation, benefits, employee relations, and organizational development, who’s passionate about creating a strong, positive employee experience.

Main aspects of the role include:

  • Lead cross-functional projects to streamline HR processes through continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Analyze current workflows, identify inefficiencies, and implement automation and digital transformation strategies.
  • Administer benefits with a focus on employee experience, while ensuring compliance and vendor partnership.
  • Administer compensation programs ensuring equity, market competitiveness and alignment with OFDs compensation philosophy.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on key HR metrics, transforming data-driven insights into actionable strategies that enhance processes, elevate talent development, and drive employee engagement.
  • Partner with leaders to support performance management through structured reviews, goal alignment, and proactive coaching, reinforcing employee development and enhancing performance.
  • Design and implement learning and development initiatives that foster employee growth while aligning with OFD’s strategic goals and objectives.
  • Maintain compliance with employment laws, while assisting with policy updates and training initiatives.
  • May assist with tasks to support payroll processing.

    OFD contains office, manufacturing and outdoor workspaces where this position is required to access and work. The position requires a person to be able to frequently walk, stand and climb; bend and twist; see, hear and talk; use hands to type, handle or feel tools, controls; use hands and arms to reach, hold and carry tools or items. This position also requires a person to handle environments of varied temperatures and with various food allergens present; and be comfortable at various heights.

The ideal candidate will have
  • Generally, Six (6) years of progressive HR experience, with at least four (4) years as an HR Generalist
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, business or a related field
  • Human Resources Certifications highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employee relations, performance management, and talent development strategies.
  • Extensive experience in compensation management, benefits administration, leave management and policy development.
  • Expertise in HRIS systems and payroll processes, with ADP experience highly preferre
  • Proficiency in HRIS configurations, reporting, and data analysis.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and prioritize workload.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Background in food or life science industries is highly preferred
  • Ability to foster strong business partnerships and collaborate effectively across department
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism while handling sensitive employee matters.
